PRIVACY
Little data. On purpose.
Last updated 16 October 2026. This notice covers both Roadline products: the marketing site you are reading, and the camera app at https://app.roadline.site. Settings in the app open this same page.
Who we are
Write to the email on the contact page for any request below. Roadline is offered to people in the EU and the UK.
The camera app
The app at https://app.roadline.site draws the guide lines on your phone camera. Alignment profiles stay in this phone's storage. Roadline does not require an account. Camera frames are processed on the phone for alignment and are not uploaded. The app can keep a copy of its own page, scripts, and icons so it opens with no signal. That copy does not include camera frames or a profile from another phone.
Loading the app still sends your IP address, the time, and basic device data to the host (Cloudflare) so the page can be served. The app does not show the advertising banner and does not load analytics or ads. A license key is stored on the phone after one unlock. Payment is not taken inside the app.
We do not collect personal data to track misuse. We do not record where you drive, what the camera sees, or how you use the lines. We do not build a profile of you to decide that a key was shared or sold. The unlock check stores the key and the ids of the phones that unlocked it. If a key is distributed, sold, or otherwise misused, we revoke that key under the terms. Revocation follows the license, a refund, or a report we receive. It does not follow a tracking record of you.
The marketing site
The quiz runs in this browser and names a preset for the drive. Roadline does not receive the answers or an email from it. The answers stay in this browser until you close the tab. They are not put in the page address. The quiz does not make a decision with a legal or similar effect.
Hosting the site also records IP address, user agent, and the time of the request in server logs.
Why, and the legal basis
- — License email: sending the key and the install steps for the purchase. The basis is the contract.
- — Security logs: keeping the site and the app available. A rejected unlock is stored with the key that was tried, the phone id, the IP address, the browser, and the time. The basis is legitimate interest in a short operational log. That log is of failed checks. It is not a history of how you use the overlay, and it is not used to look for a shared or sold key.
- — Vercel Web Analytics, on this website: which pages are opened. It does not use cookies and does not identify a person. It loads without the banner. The basis is legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used. The camera app does not load it. It is not used to watch for a shared or sold key.
- — Google Analytics, on this website: which pages are opened, when that tool is switched on. It loads on arrival. The camera app does not load it. Meta stays off until the banner is on and you accept.
- — Payment: the purchase. Card details are collected by the seller of record, not typed into Roadline.
Who receives it
- — Resend (United States) sends the license email. A development logger may write the address to the server console in local development. The public host does not use that logger.
- — Cloudflare hosts the app and may host logs for the site.
- — Vercel (United States) receives cookieless page views from this website. It does not load inside the camera app.
- — Google (United States) receives analytics from this website when that tool is switched on. It does not load inside the camera app. Meta stays off until you accept a banner.
- — Paddle is the seller of record. They receive the purchase details. Roadline does not see the card number.
We do not receive quiz answers. Mailchimp is not the email provider. Providers outside the EU and UK rely on their standard contractual clauses for that transfer.
How long
- — Server logs: up to 30 days, where the host allows a shorter life.
- — Rejected license keys: 90 days.
- — The analytics and advertising choice: on your device, for the marketing site, until you clear site data for that site.
- — Payment records: for as long as the seller of record and tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy, a correction, deletion, a restriction, or an objection to the log interest or the page-count interest. You can withdraw consent for ads. Write to the contact email. We may need to confirm it is you.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority. People in the UK can complain to the ICO. People in the EU can complain to the authority in their country. People in Bangladesh can complain to the National Data Management Authority under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2026. The Act’s complaint sections start on a date the government sets by gazette.
Cookies
Vercel Web Analytics counts pages without a cookie. Google Analytics may store a cookie on this website when that tool is switched on. It loads on arrival. Meta does not load. Fonts are served with the site. The camera app does not load these tools.
Children
Roadline is for drivers. It is not directed at children.
The overlay rules
How you may use the lines is in the terms.
